CIM Online Financial Aid System

Welcome to the CIM Online Financial Aid System! This site is where you may:

    • View the list of Financial Aid documents we need from you, including the current receipt status of each (updated daily) 
    • View your Financial Aid offer, if admitted 
    • Accept and/or decline your CIM Financial Aid offer
    • Print documents needed for your file

Information in this system only pertains to your CIM Financial Aid file and NOT your CIM Admission file. To check the status of your Admission documents, please log in to your CIM IQWeb account. Please see the CIM Financial Aid website for more details.

Login Instructions / Troubleshooting

To access this system, enter your Student ID, as communicated to you by the CIM Financial Aid Office. Applicants were emailed their Student ID on 1/5/10. If you are logging in for the very first time ever, click "First time user" and you will need to activate the account with the Student ID and set your own PIN. If you have not yet been assigned the Student ID, please contact the CIM Financial Aid Office at kristine.gripp@case.edu.

Once you have logged in and created your PIN, from then on you will use the normal login box. If you forget your PIN, the link for "Forgot your PIN?" will verify you with the security questions you set up.

You must have an application for admission on file at CIM to be issued a NetPartner account. Once your application information from the CIM Admission Office has been processed and imported into the CIM Financial Aid software, you will be notified with your Student ID needed to activate your CIM NetPartner account. 

Note - all students (new and returning) will need to submit the security questions when activating their account. This is a new security feature added to the software effective immediately.

NOTE: The Student ID for NetPartner is not the same as your IQWeb access for CIM Admissions/Registrar. They are separate systems and there was no way for us to make them match. We apologize that you must have two sets of logins. To check the status of your Admission documents, please log in to your CIM IQWeb account.

LOGIN TROUBLESHOOTING  / ERROR MESSAGES:

If you are a current CIM student applying for a new program, use the main login box with your current PIN - do not try to login via the "First time user" link. You are not a first time user.

"Validation error" occurs if you enter your birth date in the wrong date format, or that the birth date or major entered do not match the data you provided on your application for admission. The birth date must be keyed in with the MM/DD/YY format - you must include the slashes. Try again, and if you still get an error, please email kristine.gripp@case.edu with the birth date and major you are attempting to use to validate your account (so I can make sure we have the correct data) and a temporary PIN will be issued. You would then be prompted to create a new PIN once logged in. If you are a double major, try entering your other major  - the Financial Aid software only can store one major, so it may be your second major that displays here.

"Error code IA" occurs when you already have an active account and attempt to login as a "First time user." Instead, try to login with the Student ID and PIN you already have in the main login box. If you forgot your PIN, click on "Forgot your PIN?" and it will verify you with the security questions you previously set up when you created your PIN. If that fails and you need a new PIN, please email kristine.gripp@case.edu and a temporary PIN will be issued, and you would then be prompted to create a new PIN once logged in.
